Visual Identity - Op De Hoek (school)
visit projectFor this school project, I collaborated with Laura Keppens and Daria Pokrovskaya to create a full visual identity for Café Op De Hoek, a fictional Belgian pub. Our deliverables included a complete web design, logo, opening posters, social media posts, and templates for the café’s menu and invoices.
Since the concept was based on a traditional brown café, we wanted to preserve its warm, nostalgic atmosphere rather than making it look overly modern or polished. To achieve this, we developed a vintage collage style, inspired by the mix of old objects and memorabilia often found hanging on the walls of such cafés.
Throughout the process, we worked closely as a team to ensure every element, from typography to imagery, aligned within one cohesive aesthetic. The final result captures the authentic charm and character of a local pub while still feeling fresh and visually engaging.
