Visual Identity - Museumnight Ghent 2025 (school)
visit projectFor this school project, I created the complete visual identity for Museum Night Ghent 2025, the annual event where Ghent’s museums open their doors free of charge after dark. The brief called for a recognisable, consistent brand that would appeal to both seasoned museum lovers and first‑time visitors.
My deliverables:
- Logo
- Poster
- Fold‑out brochure
Concept & style
The identity revolves around the theme “light in the night.” The logo features the words “Museum Night 2025” against an abstract yellow shape, inspired by a spotlight that seems to illuminate the text. This playful highlight hints at the nocturnal setting and the special atmosphere of viewing art after hours. I kept the overall style minimalist to ensure the design stayed bold, clear and accessible.
Process & challenge
The poster proved the most challenging element: after several iterations I found the right balance between ambience and clear communication—capturing the magic of the night while still guiding visitors quickly to the key information.
Used tools:
- Adobe Illustrator
